Loos & Dilworth Introduces New
Styrenic Block Copolymer Selector Guide

March, 2000, Bristol, PA (USA)... ..Loos & Dilworth has released an updated Styrenic Block Copolymer Selection Guide.

The family of styrenic block copolymers is composed of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) and styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) types of both linear and radial, and diblock configurations. These block polymer structures are characterized by a combination of high tensile strength and rubberlike elasticity with the ease of thermoplastic or solution processing. Vulcanization or chemical crosslinking is not required to produce tough, flexible, rubbery articles.

These styrenic block copolymers from Loos & Dilworth are suitable for a wide variety of applications, including: adhesives, asphalt modification, polymer modification, molding and extrusion, and health care manufacturing.

A selector guide is available which charts the various grades available based on composition styrene/isoprene %, styrene/diene %, melt flow, elongation, and all other pertinent specifications. For more 'information, contact Loos & Dilworth Chemical Division at 800-229-5667.
